Commissioner
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 requires every public
authority to make available a publication scheme providing
information that we regularly publish. West Midlands Police
and Crime Commissioner has adopted the Information Commissioner's
Office (ICO) Model Publication Scheme. The Model Publication
Schemecan be viewed here:
ICO Model Publication Scheme. In accordance with the
Model Publication Scheme we publish information on everything
listed below. All of this information is available on this
website, and for most items on the list, links are provided on the
menu bar on this page:
- The name of the Police and Crime Commissioner, and the address
for correspondence (Published as soon as possible after the
election, and reviewed annually)
- Salary and expenses information for the Police and Crime
Commissioner (Salary information is published as soon as possible
after the election, and reviewed annually. Expenses
information is published quarterly)
- A register of interests (the register of interests is published
as soon as possible after the election, and updated as soon as
possible after any variation).
- A register of gifts and hospitality (The register of gifts
and hospitality is published as soon as possible after the
election, and updated as soon as possible after any variation)
- Information about complaints and conduct matters (published
annually, after the end of the financial year)
- Information about the Office of the West Midlands Police and
Crime Commissioner. This includes:

the draft precept (which must go before the PCP for
comment);

Details of grants (including crime and disorder
reduction grants) made by the PCC, are provided as background to
published decisions. All PCC decisions are published on this
website. Decisions on grants include information on
- the conditions (if any) attached to the grant
- the recipient of the grant
- the purpose of the grant and
- the reasons why the body considered that the grant would
secure, or contribute to securing, crime and disorder reduction in
the body's area, where appropriate.
- Contracts and tenders
- a list of contracts for £10,000 or less - to include the value
of the contract, the identity of all parties to the contract and
its purpose;
- full copies of contracts over £10,000;
- copies of each invitation to tender which is issued by the PCC
where the contract is to exceed £10,000.
- Audit
- Audited accounts: (the specialist examination of the accounts
of the office of the PCC).
- Auditors opinion of the audited accounts of the force &
PCC, covering any significant issues and any comments.
- The annual accounting statement showing how the budget has been
spent.
- Audit Reports on the accounts of the office of the PCC (please
see the Accounts and Audit (England) Regulations 2011 and the
Accounts and Audit (Wales) Regulations 2005).
- Investment Strategy
- Records and information management policy
- Lists and registers - Information held in registers required by
law and other lists and registers relating to the functions of the
authority.

Register of any interests which might conflict with the role of
the PCC and Deputy PCC, including every other pecuniary interest or
other paid positions that they hold.
- List of FOI requests received, and their responses (disclosure
log).
- List of all
gifts/donations and hospitality offered to staff of the office
of the PCC, and whether these were accepted or declined.
