Bob Jones and West Midlands Police Chief Constable joint webchat

West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner Bob Jones and Chief Constable Chris Sims will be answering questions together during a webchat on Tuesday 17 December 2013 at 2.30pm.

Bob and Chris, who have been working together for just over a year since Bob was elected, will take questions on anything to do with policing and community safety in the West Midlands.

Bob said, "Webchats are a great way to have contact with lots of people without the expense of booking a meeting room or making people travel.  I still hold public meetings and surgery sessions, so it's the best of both worlds.  Hundreds of people have been involved in previous webchats, and with the Chief Constable joining me this time, I'm sure we'll get lots of questions."

Chief Constable Chris Sims said, "The Force puts serving the people of the West Midlands at the heart of everything we do. This webchat gives them the chance to question me on that service and I look forward to all the questions.

"I'm very pleased that this is an opportunity to quiz not just me but the Commissioner as well. It should be a fascinating hour."

The webchat page is here.

Questions can be submitted beforehand via the Commissioner's website and should be clearly marked "webchat".
