Knife Crime Trainers - £75 per workshop (excl. travel)

Workshops in schools colleges across the West Midlands as part of the Precious Lives project. (Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, Wolverhampton). Sessions to take place between until 31 March 2020.

We have recently recruited a number of knife crime trainers and want to expand the pool further. This role will appeal to you if you are interested in making a difference to young people and helping them to understand the consequences of their actions.  We are looking for dynamic facilitators with real-life lived experiences that can be shared with young people and can educate them on the consequences of carrying/using knives. Hours are flexible and you will be offered sessions at schools by a central administrator.  Most of the sessions will be delivered within term-time, there may be some evening sessions.

 

You will be responsible for delivering first class training workshops to young people in primary and secondary schools and will support the Police and Crime Commissioner's knife crime strategy as part of his promise to respond to the growing issue of serious youth violence in the West Midlands.
