Job Purpose:
To provide support and capacity to the Policy and Commissioning Team in respect of policy work deriving from the Police and Crime Plan.
This is a politically restricted post.
Main duties and responsibilities: |
Provide support to the Policy and Commissioning Team in respect of policy work being undertaken. Support the team to develop policy ideas, initiatives and translate policy into action by carrying out specified tasksProvide general clerical and administration support to the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner to include photocopying, filing of records, sending emails and administration of post and mailEngage with partners, respond to telephone and face to face enquiries and provide excellent customer serviceMaintain and operate efficient and effective record keeping and filing systems ensuring they are updated and stored appropriatelyProduce and maintain a wide range of documents, databases, presentations, spreadsheets etc.Arrange and service meetings, including minute and note takingSupport the organisation of events for the OPCC including booking venues and providing reception services etc. |
