The role of a Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) is to oversee the efficiency of the Force and to work with the Chief Constable to set the strategic direction. 

Correspondence and other forms of contact are an important part of the communications and engagement that help David Jamieson, West Midlands PCC to be in touch with local communities and to be effective in monitoring the work of West Midlands Police.  The PCC takes all contacts seriously and has a team of staff to assist in the management and response to all contacts.
