West Midlands Assistant Police and Crime Commissioner Waheed Saleem, has been out and about in the West Midlands region thanking those officers from West Midlands Police who have given their time and dedication to serve the public over the Christmas and New Year period.

Waheed Saleem thanked staff at the Perry Barr Custody Suite.

During his visits, the Assistant Police and Crime Commissioner received a very warm welcome from staff as he visited Birmingham City Centre Neighbourhood Team; Bournville Lane Contact Centre; Birmingham West Response Team and Perry Barr Custody Suite.

The Assistant Police and Crime Commissioner said, “I wanted to personally go and thank all those outstanding Police Officers, Neighbourhood Teams and volunteers who worked so hard to ensure our safety and wellbeing over the Christmas and New Year period. Like me, I know the public fully appreciate the commitment and dedication all our public servants give during this period and continue to give throughout the year.”
