The Police and Crime Commissioner has a stated aim to increase diversity in all roles in the force to better reflect the varied community it serves, in order to make policing more effective.

The West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner and the Chief Constable would like to invite you to an event to hear from organisations who have who have overcome the some barriers to improving the diversity of their workforce, in order to give you practical solutions to implement.  You will hear from a Panel of speakers with different experiences and practical approaches to developing a more inclusive workforce. 

The event is targeted at HR and diversity colleagues within police forces, OPCCs, and local public sector and private organisations.

The event is taking place on Friday 28 September from 9.30 – 2pm at West Midlands Police Headquarters, Lloyd House, Birmingham.  You can book on by following this link and the full agenda is attached.
