West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner and West Midlands Black and Asian Police Association (BAPA) are proud to be jointly hosting a multi-cultural day in honour of Black History Month.

At the event, Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner Yvonne Mosquito will present the premier viewing of a video which celebrates the contributions Black and Asian people have brought to the 40 year history of West Midlands Police.  

The event will open at 10am with special presentations by Yvonne Mosquito and past Chairs of the Police Authority – Cllr Mohammad Nazir, who was the first Asian Chair and Bishop Derek Webley who was the first Black Chair.  Everybody is welcome to come and enjoy the day.
