West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner David Jamieson joined millions of people from around the country in paying his respects to the victims of the recent terrorist attack in Tunisia at 12 today.

After observing the minute’s silence, Police and Crime Commissioner David Jamieson said,

“The attack that took place in Tunisia was truly horrific and barbaric. These were acts that masqueraded as being religious, but in truth they were violent and murderous crimes.

“It saddens me that people from this region who were enjoying their holidays have been killed and injured. It defies belief.

“Today is about remembering the victims, but also about us as a community saying no to this terror and uniting against this violence.”
