West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner David Jamieson has published his Annual Report, covering a range of topics including the ban on ‘zombie knives’, improvements in Stop and Search and the multi-million pound budget of West Midlands Police.

Every PCC in the country has to produce a report, detailing their previous 12 months of work.

David Jamieson’s document includes information on the £554.24 million budget, his Police and Crime Plan, West Midlands Police’s modernisation programme and the region’s Youth Commissioners.

The report is available online, can be requested in print and will feature in libraries around the West Midlands.

West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner David Jamieson said: “My Annual Report is an important document that details all of the hard work my office has undertaken in the past 12 months

“I hope people find it informative and appreciate the achievements that have been made.”

The report also includes information on the hearing into the chaos on the M6 earlier this year, the PCC’s Outstanding Citizens Awards and his work on hidden crimes such as FGM and child sexual exploitation.
