The PCC is continuing his work to lead West Midlands Police and to support them and the Chief Constable in keeping the public safe whilst the coronavirus outbreak continues to present new challenges.

As part of the ongoing crisis, the PCC has also launched a new, emergency chapter of the Police and Crime Plan.

The plan sets out the key actions the PCC expects the Chief Constable to deliver, as well as tasks the PCC’s office will be undertaking. It builds upon the Police and Crime Plan launched in 2016 and will last until May 2021.
