| S. 60 Authorisation sought following the murder of Emmanuel Lukenga (aged 21) in Franklin Grove, Tile Hill at 14:37 on 12 June 2019.Section 60 powers authorised in the specific areas described in this application between the hours of 19:00hrs on 13/06/19 until 02:00hrs on 14/06/19. The area identified was deemed as proportionate and no wider than necessary and relevant to the intelligence picture. The lifespan of the authorisation was confirmed as necessary in order to provide a visible early deterrent in the area and to prevent serious violence and apprehend those carrying weapons. |
